90% of the melodies and loops came from long lost demos that I had kicking around collecting hard-drive ash. I began to feel like I couldn't create anything new until I addressed all these half finished messages. I filtered dozens down to eight - to whom I offered new names and strange pajamas. The record is about re imagining the me's I've lost.

The big MIDI drums on this album came from an exploration around anger - an emotion quite scary to me, though I've come to understand it can be useful. I smashed little buttons, uninhibited by a metronome, till my fingernails bruised up good.

The lyrics were an experiment on impulsiveness, a quality quite near and dear to anger.
